	The valving element of swing check valve constantly oscillates in the fluid, which causes abrasion on the valving element, arm and gudgeon, resulting in failure in the end due to the valving element getting stuck in the valve seat. We focused attention to the oscillation of the valving element and succeeded in absorbing it using an oil cylinder. Our empirical value shows that the service life of valve can be extended up to fivefold by using this new method. Role of Handle You can use the handle to fully close the valve, when it does not close completely by means of the cylinder power in some conditions where the differential pressure between the primary and secondary sides is very nearly zero.
